Let’s say you walk into a doctor with neck pain and he says “OK let’s go to the operating room”. As the patient you would be mortified with skipping just *a couple* of steps that leads you to the operating room.
As a Realtor and licensed real estate professional, there are many times I am absolutely mortified when I get that call from a potential buyer that I have never had contact with and they want to see properties in an hour or two.
Let’s go back to your neck pain. First, you would receive a consultation from your doctor, he or she would probably ask questions about the nature of the pain and what type of injury may have caused it. The doctor would probably order tests and do an examination prior to making a decision about surgery.
It is same in the real estate world and current climate of purchasing distressed property. As a professional who wants you to have a successful transaction, we need to go through certain steps to ensure you are ready to purchase a home:
- We analyze your needs and goals and set you up on an MLS search.
- You need to get pre-approved (if financed) or show proof of funds (if cash) PRIOR to appointment being set up. (This is non-negotiable and many people always try to skip this step.)
- We give you a personalized buyer consultation over the phone so your expectations of market conditions and possible bumps and bruises along the way is in check.
After all of the above is complete, we will be happy to set up an appointment with you. Again, our goal is to provide you with customized service and get you to the closing table as smoothly as possible. Call 702-966-2494 or email 411@ReneeBurrows.com if you are interested in starting the process.
Unfortunately we cannot accomodate tourists who are just curious about Las Vegas Real Estate. Call volume with this type of buyer is extremely high during the holiday seasons and peak tourist seasons. The best solution for tourists who just want to take a peek at things would be to check out open houses provided by the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtor website. Part of our responsibility as Realtors is to insure occupants of listings that our buyers are properly qualified to buy their home prior to an appointment.
